There are no Village Green within the Parish.
Winster has a wealth of common land spread over Winster Bank, Bank Top and Shothouse Spring, situated off the B5056 north of Ivonbrook Grange. Winster Common is identified as CL66 in the Common Land Register administered by Derbyshire County Council. Common land at Winster Bank and Bank Top is under the Custodianship of Winster Parish Council by virtue of Section 9 Commons Registration Act 1966, repealed by section 45 of the Commons Act 2006. The parcel on the east side of the B5056 at Shothouse is owned by the Peak District National Park Authority.
