Vote safe at the 6 May elections
Take your own pen or pencil to your polling station when you vote in the local elections tomorrow - open 7am to 10pm.

Other Covid-safe measures include:
* You may have to wait in a socially distanced queue before entering the polling station, as fewer people will be allowed inside
* Where possible a one-way system will be in operation
* In some of our smaller polling stations we can only let one voter in at a time
* You'll need to wear a face covering and sanitise your hands
* Polling booths will be regularly disinfected
* Perspex screens will separate polling staff from voters
* Polling staff will be wearing face masks or visors

Some regular polling stations have moved to alternative venues this time. Check your poll card for the correct venue or use this postcode finder.

Your voting options
If you live in Ashbourne, Bonsall, Brailsford, Cromford, Kirk Ireton, Matlock Bath, Middleton by Wirksworth, Winster and Wirksworth you get to vote on *THREE* separate issues tomorrow.

All Derbyshire Dales voters can cast their vote at the same time in the Derbyshire County Council and Derbyshire Police & Crime Commissioner elections.

Plus there are by-elections for vacancies in two District Council wards - in Masson (incorporating Bonsall, Cromford and Matlock Bath) and Wirksworth (including Middleton).

If you live in the parish of Winster, you can also vote in a parish by-election.

And if you live in Ashbourne, Brailsford and Kirk Ireton, you also have the opportunity to vote in neighbourhood plan referendums on 6 May.
